Miss G from Little House of Music and Lyric is one of my students. After all the lyrics I have written in my life I finally got to meet her! She met her match the day she met me! Every child is so different and Lyric is the kind of child that you instantly fall in love with. She is a very happy student and likes to have fun. This past lesson her mother took pictures of me pretending to bop Lyric with her Theory book because she didn't do it! The pictures didn't turn out all that well so I'm using these that I took. We were just kidding, I'd never hit a child!
The first day Lyric walked in my door to her first lesson it was like we knew each other our whole lives. Lyrics feels good about herself like every child should. She is going to be a very good pianist very soon. She just started taking lessons and already played at our "Songs of May" party.
Being a piano coach is so rewarding. I get to listen and watch as they stumble through the C scale and then all of a sudden they know every scale! What a wonderful career I have.
I love you Lyric and you have better have your Theory done by your next lesson!
