"MISS G FROM LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC WISHES PEACE FOR 2009"

Miss G with Little House of Music's only wish for the New Year is PEACE.

PLEASE, LET THERE BE PEACE IN OUR WORLD! LET THE NEW YEAR BRING PEACE TO EVERYONE IN OUR WORLD. PEACE, SWEET PEACE. UPLOAD PEACE, DOWNLOAD PEACE, DELETE WAR!

Sweet Peace And Love To All,
Miss G Little House of Music

"MISS G FROM LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC WISHES EVERYONE IN THE WORLD A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

Miss G with Little House of Music wishes you all "CHEERS!" this New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
Some interesting things that go on January 1ST of each New Year.

In England and Scotland an extra round of football fixtures is played (unless New Year's Day falls on a Friday or Sunday.)

In Pasadena, California, United States, the Tournament of Roses is held, with revelers viewing the parade from the streets and watching on television, followed by the Rose Bowl football game.

Vienna New Year Concert, in Austria.

Polar Bear Clubs: in many northern hemisphere cities near bodies of water, they will have a tradition of people plunging into the cold water on New Year's Day. The Coney Island Polar Bears Club in New York is the oldest cold-water swimming club in the United States. They have had groups of people enter the chilly surf since 1903.

In Philadelphia, the Mummers Parade is held on Broad Street.

Hindu New Year, which falls at the time and date Sun enters Mesha. Hindus celebrate the new year by paying respects to their parents and elders and seek their blessings. They also exchange tokens of Good Wishes (Kai Vishesham).

The New Year's Day Parade is held in London. Performers include acts from each of the city's 32 boroughs, as well as entertainment from around the world.

I think I'll stay out of the cool water and feel blessed to see another year!

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC WITH THE NEXT TED WILLIAMS!"

Miss G with Little House of Music---It doesn't get much cuter than this!
Meet the next Ted Williams. All you need is a bat, a ball, of course batting gloves and a batters hat and you are really good at baseball!
This is a picture of my grandson Braden with one of his Christmas presents on! Braden who is six is a lefty and a switch hitter. I just wonder what team he will be on when he makes the pros!
You look precious Braden. Now get on a team and practice. It's the greatest thing next to music to be apart of a team.
Good luck with your baseball Braden. Next time I'm at your home we'll play again!
I Love You,

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC---SWIMMING ON CHRISTMAS DAY!"

Miss G with Little House of Music-----Are you believing this? Swimming on Christmas Day! Just an added feature when you live in beautiful Florida!
Actually the water was a little to cold for the grown ups, I wonder why it wasn't too cold for the kids?
After an hour of swimming Braden and Natalie decided to get into the spa. After that the water in the pool was much too cool for them also!
The kids had a great time!

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC WITH HER GRANDCHILDREN ON CHRISTMAS DAY"

Miss G with Little House of Music had a wonderful Christmas Day with my two grandchildren Braden and Natalie. Santa just happened to come to our home and brought them gifts for being good little children all year!!!
Isn't it wonderful to see a brother and a sister hug like they did for this picture. Aren't they just precious?
Braden was trilled with the DVDs Santa brought him and Natalie is sitting on her Dad's lap, "Rusty" my favorite son-in law opening something up!
We had a wonderful Christmas day together.
I received the coolest gift from my grand children. A coffee mug with their pictures on it. Now they are with me every morning of my life. How special is that?
Enjoy the pictures and I hope you all had a Christmas Day to remember like I do. Love, Love, Love Sweet Love!

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC WITH A BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DAUGHTER"

Miss G with Little House of Music wishes my daughter Sue Ann a very Happy Birthday and a wonderful healthy year!
Another beautiful lady. I couldn't be more proud of my daughter Sue Ann. She is an outstanding young lady that has given me the best two gift's a daughter could give her Mother---two beautiful grandchildren, one boy and one girl! Can't ever ask for more than that in life.
Sue Ann and I are very close and best of friends. She is very much like her Mother, me, Miss G! I think it scares her that she is so much like me!
Sue Ann I am so very proud of you and couldn't have been blessed with a better daughter than you.
Thank you for all these wonderful years we have shared together.
I Love You,
Mom----Miss G Little House of Music

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC WITH OUR STAR MISS JULIA"

Miss G with Little House of Music would like to introduce you to our Student of the Week for the week of December 12, 2008, Miss Julia, isn't she beautiful?
Julia is apart of the five "J's" family! Jamie, John, Joy, Joshua and Julia. I wish you hear me when I introduce them!
Julia is an outstanding young lady and a great pianist. It seems like I have been her friend and music coach my whole life. Julia and I are birthday buddies, only one day difference. Of course she is a little younger!
Julia has a very pleasing personality and is always smiling. I love to see her walk through the door each week with her special smile.
Julia is also a great student at school. She is a hard worker and whatever she does she does very well.
Julia is the only student that now has two "Student's of the Week" wins. The one who wins it the most weeks from September until the end of May gets to go on a shopping spree with Miss G and spend $50.00. I just may be taking Julia this year. YOU GO JULIA!
I send a million hugs to Julia and all of my love,

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC"

Miss G with Little House of Music with something very interesting to think about!

"CHRISTMAS CANNOT BE PERFECT WHERE IT IS FUELED BY GREED!"

The word "Greed" is as bad as the word "Hate!"

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC WITH A FUN CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEA!"

Miss G with Little House of Music has a fun tip for a fun Christmas gift.

In a flea market, thrift store, or antiques store, find a pretty orphaned saucer, plate, or bowl and fill it with your friend's favorite sweets, nuts, or chocolates. Cover with plastic wrap and add a gift tag.

Very personal and lots of fun to shop for the saucer, plate or bowl!

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC WITH A CHRISTMAS QUOTE!"

Miss G with Little House of Music has a Christmas quote for you.

"CHRISTMAS IS A TIME TO ENDURE PERSECUTION. "TOLERANCE IMPLIES NO LACK OF COMMITMENT TO ONE'S OWN BELIEFS. RATHER IT CONDEMNS THE OPPRESSION OF PERSECUTION OF OTHERS."
John F. Kennedy

Good One!

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC" AND OUR STUDENT OF THE WEEK: "MR. KAI"

Miss G with Little House of Music presents our Student of the Week, Mr. Kai for the week of November 28, 2008.

Kai is a delight to teach. I've never seen him frown, he smiles all the time and we laugh a lot at lessons. Mr. Kai who is seven hasn't even taken lessons for three months and is passing songs left and right. I believe that is because his favorite subject in school is "Math!"
Kai already knows he is going to be an engineer when he grows up! I sure hope he'll be a "Music Engineer!"
Kai likes basketball and will soon be playing baseball. His favorite food is a ham sandwich from Subway! YOU GO KAI!
He also like the Jonas Bros, the color turquoise and has a puppy named Scruffy!
It is so wonderful to see happy children and Kai is one of them.
Keep up the good work Kai and anything in life you desire will come true.
I send hugs and lots of love to you Kai. Miss G is very PROUD of you!

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC WITH ST. NICHOLAS!"

Miss G with Little House of Music believes in St. Nicholas and Santa Claus!

"ASK A CHILD IF HE OR SHE BELIEVES THAT SANTA CLAUS EXISTS AND MOST SAY THEY DO. OF COURSE IT'S DISPUTED WHETHER THERE IS SUCH A PERSON OR THING AS SANTA CLAUS, BUT AS ADULTS THE LEVEL OF BELIEF DEPENDS ON THE EXTENT THAT WE UNDERSTAND THE SANTA CLAUS STORY.

ST. NICHOLAS WAS A REAL PERSON!
I believe in Santa Claus!

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC---CHRISTMAS DOOR KNOCKER!"

Miss G with Little House of Music has a great Christmas idea!

MAKE A FESTIVE DOOR-KNOCKER. CHRISTMAS DOESN'T KNOCK------YOU KNOCK AND CHRISTMAS INVITES YOU IN!

Sounds like lots of fun!

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC---WONDERFUL ARTICLE"

Miss G with Little House of Music read this wonderful article in the Sunday paper.

"GIFT OF TIME AT TOP OF GRANDPA'S WISH LIST!"
Here's a note for kids and grandkids as Christmas approaches:
It's that time again to try to find a present for grandpa, and I know you want a wish list, so here goes.
First, please nothing that has to be dusted or cared for. My clothes may be going out of style, but I'm not wearing them out and probably don't really need any more.
If I can eat it or play with it, that's always good.
What I really want is sometimes the hardest to give. There is on thing that really does run out --- time! So let me put this at the top of my Christmas list.
When you think about my supply starting to run out, that you just give me more of yours!
Ron Howard

This is true for Grandmother's also. I'd love to have more time to enjoy my live with my family.

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC WITH MISS SYDNEY!"

Miss G with Little House of Music presents Miss Sydney! What a sweetheart she is. Sydney is last weeks "Student of the Week!" YOU GO SYDNEY!
Sydney could read music before she could read words! I do experiments with Sydney. I put music on the music rack that is much more difficult then what she is used to playing and this child just plays it like she has known the song her whole life!
Sydney has a special talent that we are going to pursue. After the first of the year I'm going to take her to a Dr.of Music at one of our local Universities and show her off to the music professor. Sydney's ability exceeds the gift of music. In all my years of teaching I have never seen a young child with the knowledge to read music like she does. Her brain must has a very special extra part and I'm going to find out what it is!
Sydney is a joy to teach and she just loves her music. How lucky I am to have the opportunity to be her music coach.
Keep playing the music Sydney, there is no limit to what you can achieve with your music.
I Love You and send a million hugs,
Miss G Little House of Music

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC---HAPPY DECEMBER TO ALL!"

Miss G with Little House of Music wishes you all a very special December.
Tis' the season to be "Jolly!"
Reminder---Only 24 days of shopping left before Santa arrives!
Just where does the time go? It seems like it was just Christmas!
SOME INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT DECEMBER.
Decembers Gemstone is Turquoise and Decembers Flower is Narcissus.
Christmas Plant it the Poinsettia and December 12 is Poinsettia Day.
December used to be the tenth month of the Roman year, and it gets it's name from the word 'decem', which means ten.
The Anglo-Saxons called it "Winter Monath", or "Yule Monath" because of the custom of burning the yule log around this time. after many Anglo-Saxons became Christians they called it "Heligh Monath" or holy month, because Christmas, the birth of Jesus, is celebrated in December.
In the northern hemisphere December marks the beginning of winter, and it is the time of rain, wind and snow.
Now you know about December!
Ho Ho Ho,
