"LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC HAS IT'S OWN BUBBLE GUM MACHINE!"

Most piano coaches won't allow their students to chew gum while they are taking their lessons, not me, Miss G from Little House of Music!
Chewing gum or in our case bubble gum is just yet another form of coordination. Both hands moving up and down the piano keyboard, both feet busy on the pedals and the mouth is going a mile a minute. What could be wrong with that? Coordination is the name of the game when it comes to playing the piano. I encourage my students to chew gum or bubble gum, it's just one more part of their body moving at the same time. Who said you can't or shouldn't chew gum while you're playing the piano. I think that may have come from some old piano teacher in the early 1900's! Times have definitely changed here at Little House of Music! Of course when my students play at a concert and are on stage they know not to have gum in their mouths but it's OK at home and at lessons.
