"HOW TO WRITE A SONG BY MISS G AT LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC"

This is Miss G from Little House of Music and I'm going to give you four notes in the right hand and four notes in the left hand for you to write your own composition! These are the same notes I gave to my students when we did our "Two Octaves of Kids" CD that was on the Grammy ballot. It's very easy and simple: Here Goes!

Right Hand Notes: C D Eflat G
Left Hand Notes: C Bflat Aflat and G
Do not ever play these notes in this order. Pick three notes in the right hand, any three notes, mix them up and pick two notes, any two notes in the left hand.
Now play the three notes in the right hand that you picked. Beautiful aren't they? Now add a left hand note in the bass clef with the three notes in the right hand. Even more beautiful isn't it?
Play the notes in the right hand an octave higher, now add the second note you picked in the left hand. Your impressed with yourself aren't you?
Keep switching the notes around, pick different notes, you can put the right hand notes in the left hand and the left hand notes in the right hand and it will always sound wonderful.
With this combination of notes you could sit for one month and keep writing new compositions. There are thousands of different combinations for these few notes. Actually you only have six notes because the C and G are in both hands. Six notes and you can write your own composition. I'd just love to hear what you all come up with. You are going to be very surprised. It's so much fun to write a song. Get busy and write your first composition. I give these same notes to all my students and I wish you could hear what the five year old's come up with, their songs are beautiful and wonderful songs.
Good Luck and Have Fun! If you have a question for Miss G call her at:
