"MISS G, TODAY IS RED CROSS DAY!

Miss G from Little House of Music would like to honor Clara Barton today. Carla Barton started the American Association for the relief of Misery on the battlefield which was the result of the introduction of the Red Cross and the forerunner of The American Red Cross Association. Clara Barton was instrumental in establishing the American Chapter in 1881. Over one hundred nations now have Red Cross Associations.
Just look what one person can do to help all of us in our world. Thank you Clara Barton for taking your time and efforts to help. You should have been our first women President!
When I was a child my grandmother would get dressed up in her American Cross dress and head out the door to help others. I still to this day have her dress and all her pins and I'm very proud to have them.
I have often wondered what would happen today if we didn't have The American Red Cross. Thanks to all of those people who give of their time in times of disaster. Maybe we should all kick in and help more!
