"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC" AND OUR STUDENT OF THE WEEK: "MR. KAI"

Miss G with Little House of Music presents our Student of the Week, Mr. Kai for the week of November 28, 2008.

Kai is a delight to teach. I've never seen him frown, he smiles all the time and we laugh a lot at lessons. Mr. Kai who is seven hasn't even taken lessons for three months and is passing songs left and right. I believe that is because his favorite subject in school is "Math!"
Kai already knows he is going to be an engineer when he grows up! I sure hope he'll be a "Music Engineer!"
Kai likes basketball and will soon be playing baseball. His favorite food is a ham sandwich from Subway! YOU GO KAI!
He also like the Jonas Bros, the color turquoise and has a puppy named Scruffy!
It is so wonderful to see happy children and Kai is one of them.
Keep up the good work Kai and anything in life you desire will come true.
I send hugs and lots of love to you Kai. Miss G is very PROUD of you!

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC WITH ST. NICHOLAS!"

Miss G with Little House of Music believes in St. Nicholas and Santa Claus!

"ASK A CHILD IF HE OR SHE BELIEVES THAT SANTA CLAUS EXISTS AND MOST SAY THEY DO. OF COURSE IT'S DISPUTED WHETHER THERE IS SUCH A PERSON OR THING AS SANTA CLAUS, BUT AS ADULTS THE LEVEL OF BELIEF DEPENDS ON THE EXTENT THAT WE UNDERSTAND THE SANTA CLAUS STORY.

ST. NICHOLAS WAS A REAL PERSON!
I believe in Santa Claus!

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC---WONDERFUL ARTICLE"

Miss G with Little House of Music read this wonderful article in the Sunday paper.

"GIFT OF TIME AT TOP OF GRANDPA'S WISH LIST!"
Here's a note for kids and grandkids as Christmas approaches:
It's that time again to try to find a present for grandpa, and I know you want a wish list, so here goes.
First, please nothing that has to be dusted or cared for. My clothes may be going out of style, but I'm not wearing them out and probably don't really need any more.
If I can eat it or play with it, that's always good.
What I really want is sometimes the hardest to give. There is on thing that really does run out --- time! So let me put this at the top of my Christmas list.
When you think about my supply starting to run out, that you just give me more of yours!
Ron Howard

This is true for Grandmother's also. I'd love to have more time to enjoy my live with my family.

"MISS G WITH LITTLE HOUSE OF MUSIC WITH MISS SYDNEY!"

Miss G with Little House of Music presents Miss Sydney! What a sweetheart she is. Sydney is last weeks "Student of the Week!" YOU GO SYDNEY!
Sydney could read music before she could read words! I do experiments with Sydney. I put music on the music rack that is much more difficult then what she is used to playing and this child just plays it like she has known the song her whole life!
Sydney has a special talent that we are going to pursue. After the first of the year I'm going to take her to a Dr.of Music at one of our local Universities and show her off to the music professor. Sydney's ability exceeds the gift of music. In all my years of teaching I have never seen a young child with the knowledge to read music like she does. Her brain must has a very special extra part and I'm going to find out what it is!
Sydney is a joy to teach and she just loves her music. How lucky I am to have the opportunity to be her music coach.
Keep playing the music Sydney, there is no limit to what you can achieve with your music.
I Love You and send a million hugs,
Miss G Little House of Music

SOME INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT DECEMBER.
Decembers Gemstone is Turquoise and Decembers Flower is Narcissus.
Christmas Plant it the Poinsettia and December 12 is Poinsettia Day.
December used to be the tenth month of the Roman year, and it gets it's name from the word 'decem', which means ten.
The Anglo-Saxons called it "Winter Monath", or "Yule Monath" because of the custom of burning the yule log around this time. after many Anglo-Saxons became Christians they called it "Heligh Monath" or holy month, because Christmas, the birth of Jesus, is celebrated in December.
In the northern hemisphere December marks the beginning of winter, and it is the time of rain, wind and snow.
Now you know about December!
